Register

The first step to bidding on vehicles is to register as a member.  Registering is easy.  Simple click here and answer a few questions on the registration page.  A confirmation email sent to the address provided will offer information about how to verify the membership request.  Then you’re ready to find your dream car and bid on it.

Bidding

Bidding is simply a matter of entering a U.S. dollar amount in the text box located under the heading “Bid Now!”  Pressing the “Go” button brings up the confirmation page where the bid is finalized. 

A buyer is obligated to complete the transaction when the seller accepts a bid, so it’s best to be familiar with the buying tips below.

Know the Vehicle

• Research the market value of the vehicle before placing a bid.  GoFastAuction specializes in vintage and antique cars, so consulting Hemmings Motor News or a similar authority on this market is a good idea.
• Check to see if your state has any special requirements for classic or antique cars.
• Know how to insure the car once you buy it.  There are several insurance companies specializing in older cars.

Contact the Seller

• Contact the seller through email and/or by telephone with any questions you may have.  For information about how to contact the seller, please follow this link.
• Never place a bid on a vehicle being sold by someone who doesn’t respond to questions or whose contact information is incorrect.
• Contact GoFastAuction immediately if you have bid on a non-responsive seller.  It is one of the few conditions under which you may retract a bid.
