There may be times in which uncertainty about the value of an item is inhibiting your willingness to place a bid or buy it. It is perfectly reasonable in those circumstances to ask the seller if a return policy is offered.
No seller at GoFastAuction is required to offer a return policy. The demand for an item may not provide incentive to offer a return policy for an individual buyer.
If a seller refuses to offer a return policy, and the hesitation persists, simply do not bid on or buy the product. Safety is always the first priority for any transaction.
When the seller agrees to offer a return policy, make sure both parties agree to the terms of the return. Things to consider are:
- The length of time in which the policy is in effect
- What conditions must be met for a return
- Who pays the cost of returning an item
- How the return must be conducted, i.e., the return address, the shipping mode, etc.
It is best to define these terms in writing. Never rely on an oral agreement or assume the address for a return is the same as it is for a purchase. If any term of the return policy is not acceptable, do not bid on or purchase the item.
GoFastAuction has no return policy, because the site operates solely as a disinterested venue for commerce.
